These apprenticeships are available in various trades and will be located at different Workshops/ Units within the jurisdiction of Central Railway in Mumbai. Age Limit for Central Railway Apprentice:
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 24 years as of 15th December 2022.
- Upper Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC candidates.
Central Railway Apprentice Salary/Stipend: ₹7,000 per month for candidates holding a National or State Certificate.
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum 10th class (Matric) examination pass or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
- National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or a Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training.
Selection Process:
- Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from the applications.
- The merit list will consider the percentage of marks in matriculation (with at least 50% aggregate marks) and ITI marks in the trade for apprenticeship.
- The panel will be determined by the simple average of marks in matriculation and ITI.
Application Fee:
- A non-refundable fee of ₹100.
- Payment can be made online through various methods like debit card, credit card, internet banking, or SBI Challan.

- Aadhaar Card is required, and candidates should provide their 12-digit Aadhaar Card number during registration.
- Upload a color photograph, signature, birth certificate, caste certificate, and copies of qualification marks.
