The Role: Senior Associate, Search Engine Marketing
Responsibilities
Conduct market research on keywords, consumer trends, audience targeting, competing brands, industry tool, and technology trends.
Write attractive and concise copies for adverts.
Launching and optimizing Paid Ads campaigns (SEM) including search and app campaigns to maximize search engine returns and website traffic.
Proactively identify issues leading up to a launch and during a live campaign that would prevent hitting KPI’s and performance benchmarks.
Monitor budgets, bid strategies, and oversee search platform accounts, flagging and solving potential issues with the accounts, ads, or campaigns.
Provides regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Provide actionable recommendations based on data-driven insights to optimize campaigns.
Translate strategic plan to a mid-level and detailed execution plan.
Analyse audience data with a strategic mindset to consistently reduce CPL.
Achieving outcomes with Performance max campaigns and enhancing lead quantity and quality.
Analyse extensive campaign data to formulate solutions for improved ROAS.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of digital advertising best practices and emerging trends: Stay up to date with the latest developments in digital advertising.
Requirements
Proven experience of managing Google AdWords/Bing campaigns in SA60 (Search Ad 360) with a track record of driving successful results.
Candidates should have at least 3-4 years’ hands-on experience.
Any bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or similar.
Strong understanding of SEM techniques and best practices.
Experience in data analysis and reporting.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced Excel skills; VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.
Able to quickly jump on opportunities, communicate effectively with the stakeholders, and adjust approach in a fast-paced environment.
